Executives of KGB of the Republic of Belarus, CIS ATC and SCO RATS Executive Committee met in Minsk on December 9-10, 2025 to discuss organization of the CIS-SCO Counter-Terrorism Forum scheduled for October 2026 in the Republic of Belarus.

During their meeting, the participants discussed in detail the procedure of preparation of the Forum including the following:

a Counter-Terrorism Conference, which shall unite the Fourth CIS Conference on Countering Terrorism and Extremism and the Twelfth SCO RATS International Scientific and Practical Conference;

an Anti–Terrorism Exercise combining joint anti–terrorism drills of the competent authorities of the CIS member-states and joint anti-terrorism drills of the competent authorities of the SCO member-states.

The Head of CIS ATC Evgeny Sysoev and the Director of SCO RATS Executive Committee Ularbek Sharsheev were received by the Chair of KGB of the Republic of Belarus Ivan Tertel who noted that the upcoming large-scale events would be of great political, diplomatic and practical importance for the progressive integration of the two leading regional structures and further consolidation of the efforts of the competent authorities of the CIS and SCO member-states.

The meeting concluded by signing a protocol.
