The CIS ATC’s delegation led by the Center’s Head Mr. Evgeny Sysoev took part in a meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS member-states at the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth held in Minsk on April 28, 2026.

During the event, the participants were briefed of the results of the meeting of the Council of CIS Ministers of Foreign Affairs, held on April 17 this year in Moscow, and the implementation of the events to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War - the Year of Peace and Unity in the Fight against Nazism, reviewed the preparations for the next meeting of the Council of Heads of Government to be held in Ashgabat on May 22 as well as the activities of the CIS Interstate Council for Hydrometeorology in 2022-2025, and exchanged assessments of the state and prospects of development of the railway transport sector of the CIS member-states.

The Center’s Head presented a report on the results of the implementation of the Program of Cooperation of the CIS member-states in the fight against terrorism and extremism for 2023-2025, paying special attention to the joint results achieved in the organizational, legal, operational, analytical, scientific, educational and outreach spheres of cooperation.

Evgeny Sysoev stressed the importance of further consolidating the efforts of the CIS states to improve collective security, including within the framework of implementation of the CIS Program of CT Cooperation for 2026-2028 approved by the the CIS Council of Heads of States on October 10, 2025.
