Head of legal support group of the CIS ATC Alexei Ageev took part in a meeting of the Expert Advisory Council under the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly held in St. Petersburg on March 26, 2026.

The event brought together representatives of national parliaments, scientific and educational structures of the CSTO member-states, their public authorities, CIS and CSTO bodies, and civil society institutions.

The meeting approved law-making initiatives aimed to counter electoral extremism, shape common approaches of the CSTO member-states to build a national cybersecurity and artificial intelligence management system, improve the CSTO model legislation on criminal intelligence operations, information, analytical and methodological support for strategic planning to ensure national and collective security, as well as other significant aspects of counterterrorism.
