Deputy head of the CIS ATC Information and Analytical Section Anton Arefev took part in the round table on "International cooperation in anti-terrorist protection of fuel and energy complex facilities. Basic aspects of personnel training", organized by the Russian Academy of Education and Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in Moscow on April 8, 2026.

The event was attended by scientists and experts from leading universities of the Russian Federation and the CIS member-states.

The agenda focused on discussion of pressing issues of the implementation of scientific and educational projects to train specialists in international scientific and technical partnership, as well as the specifics of training industry employees in anti-terrorist protection of fuel and energy facilities.

In his statement A. Arefev focused on practical joint activities of the Center and Gubkin University being the CIS base organization for training, professional retraining and advanced training of oil and gas industry personnel, and effective cooperation in a number of areas of prevention of terrorist and extremist threats.
