The CIS ATC’s delegation took part in the international scientific and practical conference on "Priority areas and ways to improve coordination of actions of the competent authorities and structures of the CIS member-states amid transformation of extremism and terrorism in the border area", organized by the SKPV Coordination Service and the Basic Organization of the CIS Member-States for training, professional retraining and advanced training of senior border officers (Border Academy of the FSB of Russia) and held in Moscow on April 21, 2026.

The event was attended by representatives of the border agencies of 6 CIS countries (the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan), the Golitsyn Border Institute and the Border Service Research Center of the FSB of Russia.

In their statements the Center’s representatives outlined the legal aspects of the modern coordination activities of the CIS bodies, focused on current areas of cooperation between the competent authorities of the Commonwealth countries in countering terrorism and extremism in the border area.
