On October 27, 2026, a representative of the CIS ATC took part in the international scientific and practical conference “CIS: Directions and Prospects for Development,” organized by the Institute for the Study of Problems of Asian and European Countries of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan and the National Research Institute for Communications Development (Russian Federation).

The conference brought together representatives of the scientific and expert community, as well as government bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation.

The participants of the event discussed the political and economic aspects of the CIS development, the state and trends in the development of regional and international security, and pressing issues related to humanitarian and scientific‑technological cooperation.

A representative of the CIS ATC spoke on “Multilateral Cooperation on Security Issues in Central Asia and Afghanistan” and informed the audience about the growing terrorist propaganda influence and the results of the CIS ATC’s work to counter destructive ideologies.
