A meeting of the senior staff of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, CIS Anti–Terrorism Center and CIS Basic Organization for Training Personnel in Countering Terrorism and Extremism (CIS Basic Educational Organization) was held on November 12, 2025 in Yerevan.

Prior to the meeting, the delegations laid flowers at the Eternal Flame located in the Victory Park Memorial Complex.

During the meeting, the CIS ATC Head Evgeny Sysoev informed the participants about the organization of the Center's 25-year activity in the main areas, noting Armenia's significant contribution to the results of the work of competent authorities in countering terrorism and extremism in the CIS.

The CIS ATC' heads of departments Vyacheslav Potapov and Igor Nevedrov presented the state of cooperation between the Center and the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia in the coordination, operational, information and analytical spheres, as well as measures of improvement.

Nikolay Plotnikov, Head of the CIS Basic Educational Organization presented on the organization of activities aimed to assist in coordinating the scientific and educational activities of CIS specialized universities and measures to fulfil a comprehensive program of professional education and personnel development in countering terrorism and extremism for 2026-2028 approved by the 57th meeting of the SORB.

In conclusion, the participants noted the high level of cooperation and outlined ways to further improve it.
