Deputy Head of the Information and Analytical Department Anton Arefev took part in the Russia’s Young Translators' Workshop which was held on December 20, 2025 and became the first online meeting of representatives of youth and volunteer movements and projects in the history of the Union of Translators of Russia (UTR).
The event was attended by undergraduates, postgraduates, translators and teachers from Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, India, Turkey and Greece, who are actively engaged in various practical translation activities.
In his statement the Center's representative informed about the Student Shield contest of students’ initiatives in countering terrorism and extremism, organized by the CIS ATC and Moscow State Linguistic University.
In addition, Anton Arefyev proposed possible areas of cooperation between the CIS ATC, the UTR and the CIS Association of Translators in rendering linguistic support for the preparation of CT/PE documents of the lead international organizations.
