A meeting between Head of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center Mr. Evgeny Sysoev and Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Andranik Simonyan was held in Moscow on February 26, 2026.

During the meeting, the parties summed up the results of cooperation between the CIS ATC and the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia in countering terrorism and extremism in 2025, noting the increasing positive dynamics of cooperation in all major areas of activity.

The heads of the delegations paid special attention to the organization of the XV Regional Expert Consultations of representatives of the anti-terrorist units of the competent authorities of the Commonwealth states to be held in the Republic of Armenia for the first time in March 2026.

In conclusion, the executives expressed confidence in the further progressive development of cooperation and the strengthening of collective efforts in the CIS area.
