On 1 July 2026, the CIS Anti‑Terrorism Center hosted a meeting between its Head, Evgeny Sysoev, and the Official Representative of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation, Zymchybек uulu Almazbek, who arrived in Moscow on a diplomatic mission in May.

The parties noted with satisfaction that the long‑standing and productive cooperation between the CIS ATC and the Kyrgyz SCNS has delivered concrete positive results across all key areas of joint activity and continues to develop steadily.

Evgeny Sysoev highlighted the effective functioning of the national system for countering terrorism and extremism in the Kyrgyz Republic and the country’s significant contribution to counter‑terrorism cooperation across the Commonwealth. He also praised the consistently high level of Kyrgyz representation at international events organized by the CIS ATC.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence in the continued strengthening of collective efforts to ensure security within the CIS.
