October 24, 1945 is the date when the UN Carter entered into force. This is considered the day of founding of the universal organization which unites 193 member-states.
Throughout many years the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center has been cooperating with the UN specialized agencies, including the Office of Counter-Terrorism, Executive Directorate of Counter-Terrorism Committee, Monitoring team of the sactions committees of the Security Council, Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia by contributing to the international counterterrorism cooperation and complementing the UN efforts at the regional level.
The CIS ATC and the UN signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2018 which formalized the organizations' relations and became a new step in developing cooperation practically filled every year.
