Deputy head of CIS ATC Sergey Zubkov took part in the session of the Coordinating meeting of representatives of committees (commissions) for defence and security of CSTO member-states  parliaments at the CSTO Parliament Assembly Council on October 23, 2025 in Dushanbe. 
The event brought together representatives of parliaments and competent authorities of CSTO member-states, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, CSTO Secretariat and Joint Staff, CIS ATC. 
The session offered an opportunity to exchange views on state and forecasts of development of military-political situation in the Central Asia of collective security, discuss issues of countering terrorism, extremism, illegal migration, fight on drug trafficking as well as border and custom security. 
The Center's representative made a statement on situation in counter-terrorism and counter-extremism fields, noted key factors shaping security threats in Central Asia and focused on destructive activities of ITOs operating in Afghanistan.
