A representative of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center attended consultations with the relevant ministries and agencies of the CSTO member-states, held in Moscow on August 14, 2026. The consultations were aimed to clarify the schedule for joint operational training activities of the command bodies and formations of the CSTO collective security system forces and resources in 2027.

The event was attended by representatives from the defense ministries of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the CSTO Secretariat and the CSTO Joint Staff.

During the consultations, the participants reviewed the preparations for CSTO joint exercises to be held in 2027 in the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Tajikistan.

The CIS ATC representative briefed attendees on the Center’s planned activities for 2027 and the prospects for organizing joint combined exercises between CIS and CSTO countries.
