Deputy Head of the Center Sergei Zubkov took part in the staff negotiations on the organization and conduct of 2026 joint exercises of the CSTO collective forces, held on April 7, 2026.

The event hosted by the International Military Center in Moscow was attended by representatives of the ministries and departments of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the CSTO Secretariat and Joint Staff.

The participants discussed preparation and comprehensive support of CSTO joint exercises in 2026 in the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation  as well as the prospects for organizing combined exercises of the CIS and CSTO member-states in the near future.
