The event was attended by almost 800 participants from 179 countries and international organizations in charge of cooperation between special services and law enforcement agencies.

The session reviewed interstate cooperation in countering transnational organized crime, terrorism and illegal migration. Special attention was paid to the threats posed by activities of international fraud centers.

The Head of the CIS ATC had a bilateral meeting with Mr. Darrin Jones, Executive Director for Partnership and Planning at Interpol, on the sidelines of the event. The parties discussed the organization and state of cooperation, outlined ways to further develop it and expressed confidence in the need to increase anti-terrorism cooperation.
