The CIS ATC’s delegation led by Deputy Head Sergey Zubkov took part in a strategic command and staff training to respond to crisis situations in the area of responsibility of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, held on March 17, 2026.
The event, hosted by the CSTO Crisis Response Center, brought together representatives of the general staffs of the armed forces of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and CSTO Joint Staff.
A working meeting between the Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Colonel-General Andrey Serdyukov and delegations of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, Coordinating Service of the Council of Commanders of Border Troops and CIS ATC, invited in the observer capacity, was held on the sidelines of the training to discuss further development of cooperation with CIS bodies in preparation and conduct of exercises of the CSTO Collective Forces.
