The CIS ATC delegation led by the Center's Head Evgeny Sysoev took part in a meeting of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly held in Moscow, on April 20, 2026.

The event was attended by parliamentarians and representatives of relevant departments of the Commonwealth countries, as well as invited heads of CIS bodies.

The agenda of the meeting included a wide range of issues, including an assessment of current challenges and threats to international and regional security, further convergence and harmonization of national legislations of the Organization's member-states.

Moreover, representatives of the national parliaments discussed the military-political situation at the external borders and the prospects for the development of model law in the CSTO area of responsibility.

The CSTO PA Council adopted a Statement on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Assembly.
