A meeting between the Head of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center Mr. Evgeny Sysoev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation H.E. Dauren Abayev was held in Moscow on March 4, 2026.
During the meeting, the Parties noted with satisfaction the long-term fruitful cooperation between the CIS ATC and the competent authorities of Kazakhstan that allows achieving concrete positive results in all key areas of joint activity and keeps steady development.
Mr. Sysoev stressed the effective work of the national system for countering terrorism and extremism in the Republic and the country's significant contribution to anti-terrorist cooperation within the Commonwealth. In addition, the Head of the Center emphasized the traditionally high level of representation of the competent authorities of Kazakhstan at the international events organized by the CIS ATC.
In conclusion of the meeting, the chiefs of diplomatic and international missions expressed confidence in further strengthening collective efforts to ensure security in the CIS.
