The CIS ATC's delegation led by its Head Evgeny  Sysoev took part in the 91st meeting of the Council of Commanders of Border Troops (SKPV) held on October 30, 2025, in Manas, Kyrgyz Republic.
The event was attended by delegations from the border agencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, SKPV Coordination Service, heads and representatives of the CIS cooperating agencies, CSTO secretariat, Executive Committee of SCO RATS and International Union of Public Associations of Veterans of the Border Service
The meeting assessed the situation on the external borders of the CIS member states, reviewed issues of improving interstate automated information exchange, joint research and training activities, as well as the organization of joint special border operations in 2026.
The Head of the CIS ATC informed the Council members of the situation in the field of countering terrorism and extremism in the CIS, highlighting the key factors influencing its development. 
Mr. Sysoev positively assessed the long-term cooperation between the CIS ATC and the SKPV, focused on the results of cooperation in the field of interstate investigation. 

Our cooperation is most productively carried out in the interstate search for wanted. The special border operations supported by the information of the CIS ATC databank have resulted in detention of 125 terrorists for 9 months of this year, and 407 for the last 10 years, Evgeny Sysoev said.

Following the meeting, additional measures were developed aimed at further strengthening border security on the external borders of the CIS and expanding multilateral cooperation in this area.
