First Deputy Head of the CIS ATC Mr. Sabyrzhan Ungarbayev took part in the 26th meeting of the Committee of Heads of Law Enforcement Agencies of the Council of Heads of Customs Services of the CIS Member-States, held in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan on 30 October 2026.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the customs services of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as by representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, the Coordination Service of the Council of Heads of Customs Services, and the Secretariat of the Coordination Council of the Prosecutors General.
The agenda covered a broad range of issues, including the organization of comprehensive measures to combat economic crimes and offences in the customs sphere, and the further development of information and analytical cooperation among the law enforcement units of the CIS member-states’ customs services.
In his report, Mr. Ungarbayev briefed participants on the current situation in countering terrorism and extremism, as well as on emerging trends in these areas across the CIS space.
