The chief of the legal support group of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center attended the 32nd meeting of the Expert Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member-States and the Regional Communications Union, held in Moscow on October 16, 2026. This marked the Center's first participation as a permanent member of the council.

The meeting featured a dynamic exchange of views on cooperation within the "CIS-plus" format and evaluated the ongoing work of the Regional Communications Union.

The Center's representative actively participated in discussions regarding CIS ATC legislative initiatives. Key legislative drafts reviewed during the session included:

the draft model law "On Countering the Use of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Technologies for Terrorist and Extremist Purposes";

recommendations on administrative and legal measures implemented by authorized bodies to ensure the counter-terrorism security of CIS member states;

frameworks for implementing the immunities and privileges of the CIS ATC within host countries.
