The CIS ATC’s delegation led by Deputy Head Major General Abdykadyr Razaev took part in a meeting to summarize the activities of the Coordination Service of the Council of Commanders of Border Troops (KSSKPV) in 2025 and set objectives for 2026, which was held on January 23, 2026.

The Center’s Deputy Head informed about the main results of cooperation between the CIS ATC and the KSSKPV in the previous year, noting that more than 100 wanted persons were identified and detained during joint special border operations with the information support of the Center in 2025.

In his statement Mr. Razaev also outlined priority areas of cooperation for the current period, including the joint preparation of a draft Program of cooperation between the CIS member-states in deradicalization for the next medium–term period, as well as mastering of the border security training tasks in the framework of the upcoming anti-terrorism exercises in the Republic of Belarus.

In conclusion, the Center’s Deputy Head stressed the importance of further improving the mechanisms of effective cooperation in countering terrorism and extremism in the CIS.
