The First Deputy Head of the CIS ATC Mr. Sabyrzhan Ungarbayev took part in the session on "Development of International Logistics and International Transport Corridors in the CIS and in Greater Eurasia" of the CIS Coordination Transport Meeting  held on the margins of the International Transport and Logistics Forum in St. Petersburg on April 1, 2026.

The event was attended by heads of transport ministries and departments of the CIS states (the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan), representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Eurasian Economic Commission, and business communities.

The experts discussed topical issues of forming international transport corridors, ensuring transportation safety, strengthening transport connectivity of the CIS member-states with non–CIS countries, as well as the possibility of using advanced technologies and digitalization to expand geography and increase traffic volumes.
