A Working group meeting on the preparation of draft educational standards in the field of deradicalization and the development of a Comprehensive Program for Professional Education and Personnel Development in the field of deradicalization of individuals who have fallen under the influence of the ideology of terrorism and extremism, organized by the CIS Executive Committee was held on September 29, 2026.

The event was attended by representatives of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the key organizations of the CIS member-states responsible for training personnel in the field of countering terrorism and extremism and for researching issues related to countering terrorism and other manifestations of extremism, and the CIS ATC.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the results of the work carried out in preparing draft educational standards and developing a Comprehensive Program for Professional Education and Personnel Development in the field of deradicalization were discussed, and proposals were developed for organizing further cooperation during the coordination and approval of these documents.
