On results of a table-top exercise aimed to prepare for the first stage of drill "Commonwealth–Antiterror - 2025"

A table-top exercise aimed to prepare for the first stage of the joint drill of the competent authorities of the CIS member-states "Commonwealth–Antiterror - 2025" was organized by the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan on October 2, 2025.

The event brought together representatives of the competent authorities of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Council of Heads of Financial Intelligence Units of the CIS member-states, Bureau for the Coordination of Fight on Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crimes on the Territory of the CIS member-states, Executive Committee of SCO RATS, and CIS ATC.

The exercise offered an opportunity to inform on the content of the main stages of the drill, the procedure for employing collective-use information systems in disposal of the security agencies, special services and law enforcement agencies of the Commonwealth countries, as well as typical situational tasks.

The participants exchanged practices in ensuring security of critical infrastructure and transport facilities, and reviewed the main features of measures to improve their anti-terrorist protection.

Joint anti-terrorism drill "Commonwealth–Antiterror - 2025" will be conducted in October this year in the territories of seven Commonwealth states.  The participants will master training tasks to identify and prevent terrorist acts, suppress cross-border movement of terrorist-fighters, provide transport security and counter terrorist financing.

For the first time ever the military phase of the exercise will be combined with the final stage of the exercise of CSTO Peacekeeping Forces "Indestructible Brotherhood" and held on Fakhrabad training range of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan.
